•Potatoes are low in fat and rich in carbohydrates.
•Potatoes are high in Vitamin C content. One serving of potatoes takes care of 45% of the recommended daily amounts.
•Potatoes are high in potassium. One potato serving satisfies 21% of the recommended daily amount.
•Potatoes are high in fiber. One potato serving represents 12% of the recommended daily amount.
•Potatoes skins contain lots of nutrients, including potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, and Vitamin B.
•One medium potato contains more than three times the amount of potassium as one medium orange.
